i'm not really bugged by people hating mary-sue's, it's the people that aggressively hate a female lead at every turn while simultaneously writing their male-fave as the TRUE hero of the story that irritate the fuck out of me. you can't claim her traits and narrative as bad when you're happily slapping that on a dude instead and calling it 'better'. fuck off with that shit.
