I hope he does. He was the best thing to happen to the sequel trilogy. If he'd been given the third one too, things would have been much better.

The Last Jedi is a better written movie than The Rise of Skywalker

So, if The Rise of Skywalker had the same quality of writing as The Last Jedi, it would be a better movie

The script was too wordy and pretentious for a Star Wars film. It didn’t follow through with what was set up on TFA. It just didn’t make any sense.

TROS had some decent parts but it was still a mess.

Yeah, no. I'm not sure it could have been worse but it definitely wouldn't have been better. The guy's too far up his own ass to write anything that isn't a smug gotcha after the other. There's nothing well written about the second movie.

Agreed. Also he disrespected the OT cast and kept trolling the fans on Twitter.

I doubt that his “trilogy” or Mando episode will happen. It would be in poor judgement for LF to rehire someone who damaged a beloved intellectual property.
