Yeah, there are circumstances (the kind of circumstances that can be established in a fictional narrative) where I'm basically accepting of some level of torture. Mostly "eye for an eye" type circumstances where the person who was victimized gets revenge. I am fine with what Lisbeth Salander does to Bjurman in TGWTDTT, for instance. Honestly, good for her.

I think it's right for the law to be opposed to torture in all circumstances. But I am not the law. My own personal feelings on the matter can be far more circumstantial than the law can rightfully be.
