110. They may just be cosplayers, but they're really good. I think it takes a lot of talent to cosplay, and Hollywood should start going after people who have done something like that (and done it well). They'd get people who really resonated with the characters and could play them well -- better than any "star" who's never heard of the show in question. Plus, I have a feeling that most cosplayers would cost less to employ, so it's a win-win all around.

116. PARTIAL agreement here. Mostly because I have actually heard people say that they actively look for things that piss them off so as to "correct" them because it's "their job." But ehhhh it's kind of in their rights to do it so :\ I just prefer if they stay out of my space when they do it because fandom is fun for me.

I just think it's weird and don't agree half the time.

True, but what if they can't act their way out of a paper bag?

Most of the really good cosplayers I've seen could? I mean, obviously this would be an issue, but really good cosplayers are generally that way because they're not only good with their costumes, but they're good at getting into character.

The man shown is John Green, a YA novelist (Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines, Paper Towns, and one part of Let it Snow, written with Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle) and one half of 'Brotherhood 2.0' a vlog project that he collaborates on with his brother Hank which has now entered its third year. He is a practicing Episcopalian and identifies himself as politically and socially liberal.

Sounds like a pretty cool guy. I'll have to look into his projects. Thanks, anon!
