If you don't like scenarios a, b, c, d, and e, then I think you managed to dislike all possible resolutions to hidden treasure plots? I'm curious what your ideal resolution would be.

I'm not trying to be mean to you, I'm just genuinely confuzzled.

Additionally, I strongly dislike scenario e as well. The other options don't seem nearly as bad to me as that one.

Not OP, but I'm pretty sure those aren't individual options but one whole scenario that OP felt the need to break into multiple choice for some reason. i.e., OP doesn't like plots where the treasure is real and the treasure hunters need it, but not only do they not find it and don't get a better solution to their problem, but the audience is supposed to think it's heartwarming or something.
