No, I got that too. Especially as it was Denethor so visibly eating the tomato, gorging himself to song after he sent his remaining son, who he resents for being alive when Boromir died, off to an unwinnable battle. It's so gross, and such a good way of highlighting how completely - I want to say unhinged, but maybe self-destructive? he is.
