Andre 3000 is one of the few modern examples of true musical genius, but even if you disagree, I think you're missing out on some truly wonderful music by generalizing a whole genre. Which is fine because I don't want racists to enjoy anything. Oh and black people can play guitars too, idiot. And to furthur support your point, I can't really think of any terrible examples of Brits playing Americans. However, James Marsters does okay, imo. If any complaint can be made about his performance, it's that the writers put in some weird, innacurate slang.

I was merely trying to highlight the fact that much of today's popular music traces it's origins back to slave songs which progressed into gospel, blues, jazz, etc, etc... Early black musicians made it possible for extremely successful bands to flourish later on by laying the foundation. I realize that there were white musical geniuses in the past who also paved the way (like Mozart, to site an extremely obvious example), but I was trying to make a point, dammit. A point you obviously missed.
