137. Oh, my god, I am so sick of these types of secrets. I'm not trying to be a bitch or start some kind of wank war, but honestly? NOT EVERYONE IS GAY/HAS GAY TENDENCIES. Some people truly are 100% straight. It happens. It's actually a good thing, right? Perpetuation of the species and all that? I could really give a flying fig what anyone's sexual orientation is, it really doesn't matter one iota to me ... but not everyone is the SAME, and no, not everyone has someone of the same sex that they'd "go gay for".

Sorry for the ire. I'm just tired of seeing this idea that EVERYONE IS GAY all over the place. That's not how it works.

139. Wow, okay, so am I the ONLY person in the whole world who didn't really feel sorry for Mickey? I mean, yeah, he was a loyal guy, but he and Rose never really seemed to be a good match at ALL in my opinion. He had some moments where he was kind of a wank. I guess I just don't see this loyal, sweet lapdog that everyone else is seeing. He had some moments where he was quite insensitive, and Rose was clearly longing for something more out of life. So yeah, I mean, Mickey was a nice enough guy, but I guess I'm just not seeing what everyone else is seeing with him. He didn't really garner much sympathy from me at all ... in fact, I do have a hard time feeling much of anything for him. *shrugs* But that's just me, I guess. I get the feeling I'm in the minority.

Eh, I just see these kind of things as an offshoot of the Kinsey scale--some people are at the extremes of the scale (and to say they don't exist at all is silly), but most are somewhere in the middle. I don't know of the actual research that's gone on since then, but "most people are varying degrees of bisexual" isn't just a fandom thing.

Yeah, he had his faults, but so does everyone on the show. I personally prefer Mickey and Rose together, I felt like they fit well. He kind of grounded her...YMMV

137. I think you might have missed the point of the secret. OP doesn't think everyone is gay. Quite the opposite, OP finds it hard to believe anyone could be completely straight OR completely gay. Yeah, I get your point, but you're arguing the wrong thing.
