Pardon me, anon. I frequently use "goofy" as a euphamism when describing someone whom I don't see in an entirely favorable light but do not wish to offend/do not wish to offend friends of (not necessarily that I see your friend negatively, of course)

I was merely implying that your fear of someone being relentless (in I assume their teasing you over your giving in to something so often stereotyped as a quentisential nerd show or something you previously denounced, or, hell, perhaps relentless in their insistance you watch it, or, uh, or something, idk) was is immaterial; you should watch the hell out of that show (and some of the movies) because it is something entirely unique and just fun as all getout to watch

though, in all honesty, a friend who would be relentless in any way that would cause you to make a fandom!secret about being intrigued over something as kickass as Star Trek sure as heck seems goofy to me, haha
