fffff I was so excited about the Northern Kings I didn't notice you liked Charon and Teräsbetoni too!!! :D Yay! lol my other friends either just ignore me or laugh at me when I start gushing about all my Finnish metal XD THEY JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND!

I'm totally saving up money for a pilgrimage to Finland next year to see Tarot, Northern Kings, Charon and/or Teräsbetoni since they apparently don't tour the states. Which just isn't fair. I MUST see Tarot. I MUST. XD

OMGGGGG I have the same problem!! My one IRL friend is a very casual Nightwish fan (I had to BEG him to watch End of an Era on his 16 foot wall -Home theaterish thing-- in 5.1 surround. Well worth it, btw) and I can't get him into anything else and outside of him I have no other friends near me who are like super into this stuff! (He totally stinknosed Sonata Arctica, Tarot, Northern Kings, etc. :( I tried.) I just got into Teräsbetoni a few weeks ago (Through Northern Kings). They don't understand us!! T.T (I've been raving about this for the last few months on my LJ... I think my flist is about to have a mutiny lol)

Tarot just released a live DVD, called I think Undead Indeed (Sadly not Stateside AFAIK.). They were talking about it in BW&BK (OMG THE SQUEE I LET OUT IN FYE AT SEEING TAROT IN A MAG IN AMERICA, lol I know they think I'm nuts!)

OMG YOU MUST! And if you get to go TAKE PICTURES! That would be sooooo awesommmmmeeee..... \m/ It would be epic if Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Tarot, Northern Kings, Charon, and Teräsbetoni just had one big festival together. Now that, would be awesome sauce and 1/2. (Nightwish and Sonata did a tour in the states briefly and of course, played NOWHERE near me... closest place either of them tours to me is either Detroit or Baltimore-- 7 hours away! And I can't drive!)

I have Undead Indeed (had to import the goddamn thing, it took forever), but my brother borrowed it and I only recently just got it back but I haven't had a chance to watch it again. argghhhh. forgive me marco ;_;

Awww, that sucks that you didn't get to see the Nightwish/Sonata tour last year! D: I saw their performance in SF, and it was SO. GOOD. It was my first concert ever, and they were so amazing. At the time I was only familiar with their music, though, I didn't know who all the band members were, and I'm just kicking myself now!! I'm so stupid. Now that I know better, I'm dying to see them again. I'm such a doofus that I'm actually flying out to Atlanta to see Nightwish again in May. XD XD XD Sonata won't be back in FOREVER because they're working on their new album (which is good, but still.. ;_;). They usually make several stops in California, and I'm planning on hitting every one next time. IT'S GONNA ROCK. \m/

Tuska Open Air Festival, man! :D :D Most of the bands mentioned above play there (I think. There are are sorts of summer festivals, actually). I can't afford it this year, but maybe next year. <3 <3 <3

OMG You're so lucky! I have a hard enough time going to FYE and ordering NORMAL cds (the downside of living in a tiny town) -- my music taste is so wierd, they know me by first name!! >.<;;; I doubt they'd import anything there. :( (Yeah just last week I was crying over the lack of Ayreon and Sirenia.... >.>)

It's so hard for me to go to shows and stuff... I need a job. I probably could get a sitter for my kid (the grandparents), but then I'd have a whole buncha logistical stuff to deal with. :( Someday.... someday I will see them. I hope you have fun though! It sounds like it's gonna be awesome! \m/ I'm all bummed that I'm missing Nightwish's stop in Baltimore (closest to me on this leg of the tour)... :*(

I would probably feel like I went to Heaven if I could go to one of those festivals. I was reading the Wacken '08 report in BW&BK... sounded like so much fun. Muddy, but fun. LOL Why don't they do stuff like that in America, seriously? I mean, I know they have festivals, but they don't have any big-deal metal festivals here.

Yaaay now you can see my gushings about these for the last few weeks lol
