Thanks for telling me! Now I can look down on him for being a slut. That slut! Rat-faced slut even.

I didn't say being a slut was necessarily a bad quality. However, terming it as "more than one girlfriend" is rather like saying there's been a "small kerfluffle" over Iraq.

Frankly, I like Tennant a great deal, but I can call it like it is.

And he can have 5 girlfriends at the same time for all I care. Calling him a slut is just as offensive as calling a female a slut for the same thing.

Yeah, I reckon I'm in the minority thinking that calling anyone a slut because they've had several SOs is a crappy thing to do. But I'll keep thinking that anyway. ;)

It's a crappy thing to do to either sex, but it's still a gendered word.

Yeah, I agree with you. When people say slut the majority of people would assume they mean a woman. I'd prefer not to see it used at all. But I still don't get the whole dating several people = slut when people don't know the circumstances that lead to breakups or whatever. Especially the if a woman has dated more than one guy she's a slut thing. :P

I know I'm about 6 hours late to the game, but I just wanted to chime in and say that I agree with you. So what if he's dated a few girls or 10 (haha, Ten. Okay, that wasn't funny)? It's his life, and I couldn't care less who he dates or how many women he dates. I just really hate words like "slut" and "whore", because they're just so judgmental and wrong. Besides, when does one cross over the "slut" line, exactly? 3 partners? 7? Maybe one? Yikes.

And really, was it ever really confirmed that he and Billie were an "item"? I know that in my brain, they totally were, but officially I mean... ;)
