(Anonymous) 2009-02-02 03:55 am (UTC)(link)I got waitlisted at Yale with a 1500 on my SAT, beaucoup de activities (I was my high school Miss, president of chorus, the lead in high school musicals, county MVP for quizbowl/academic team, helped coordinate the Florida Spanish Speakers Conference, and won a vocal competition which let me sing with the city orchestra and earned my school music program $1000. I graduated with a 4.94 and was number one in my class)
WAITLISTED.
Why?
Because an athlete with lower scores than me was accepted from the same small town, and they didn't want/need two people from my city.
So, fuck Ivy Leage schools. They're not that easy to get into. Although Blair's family could buy her way in. =/
