He was in the stinger at the end of the first movie. Absolutely no explanation as to how he knows him. Thankfully, they got rid of the terrible wig.

Isn't he supposed to be Carnage (as in Venom: Let There be Carnage)? In the comics, Cletus Kasady was a severely mentally unstable serial killer who briefly shared a cell with Eddie Brock. When Eddie broke out, he left a part of his Symbiote behind, and Carnage was born.

In the movie Venom, in a mid-credits scene, Brock is invited to interview incarcerated serial killer Cletus Kasady, who promises "carnage" when he escapes. So, guessing something happens during a visit or something.

I have zero memory of that scene (and have never read the comics). Well, yay for people who are bigger fans. :D
