NGL I hated the grisha trilogy and it kept me from reading anything else she wrote. The show I'm eh about but I might check it out because a lot of my friends seem to like it.

I read the Grisha trilogy because I loved these two books so much, and I felt the same way about it. I'm so glad I read the duology first because it's amazing and I never would have given it a chance if I'd read Grisha first. I haven't watched the TV series, but I'm glad if it incorporated things from Crooked Kingdom. No show could do those books justice anyway, and if it improved the Grisha trilogy adaptation, I'm all for it.
