From everything that has been said by Marvel Studios, you're going to be able to understand what's going on in the movies if you don't watch the D+ shows. Having seen the shows will probably add nuance/layers (I mean, as far as the MCU does those things, which is not always that far), but anything you actually need to know will be in the movies.

As much as they want to drive subscriptions to D+, they know* that more people will go see a superhero movie than will subscribe to D+ to watch the TV shows, and they don't want to miss out on those more casual viewers' money.

*based, of course, on the Before Times, because nobody can really say what people are going to do as far as movie-going in the next couple of years.
