I mean, some people have been Steve Rogers fans for a long time before the MCU, and maybe would like to get to see more of their favorite?

(And surprise! not everyone who likes Steve is a Stucky shipper. I don't ship him with anyone at all in the MCU, and my comics OTP is Steve/Sharon.)

If you're a pre-MCU Steve Rogers fan, you've got 80 years worth of media to pick and choose from already. You don't need another outing of the washed out imitation of Steve Rogers the MCU gave you.
