And the OP is stating that Lenora is Trinidadian when she's actually English in pretty much every way that counts - how is it 'looking for wank' to point that out, as very other people also have?
How do you know what the OP was implying? The OP called an English actor by another nationality. The only thing that could possibly make the OP think that she is anything but English is her skin colour. Thus, the OP was making a judgement, based on her skin colour. I think it's a good idea to point out that that's not the best way to make a judgement about someone's nationality. If they wanted to talk about diversifying the cast, they could just have pointed out that she's not white and left it at that - but they specifically chose nationality. And you can piss a lot of people off by suggesting that their skin colour means they must be some other nationality than British, even if they have been born and raised in this country.

British is not the same thing as English. They could be British and Scottish or Welsh or N. Irish, for instance. However, as far as I am concerned you don't have to be white to be either. I have found that most people I know whose family have immigrated here at some point in the past seem to consider themselves British, rather than English (or other). I don't know what to make of that.
It really pisses me off that I'm considered more English/British because I'm white than a friend of mine whose family is Bengali. My mother and father came over here, his Great Grandparents came over here, but because he isn't white he is still not considered to be a proper member of this country.
