tbh I'm like this too. I never REALLY leave my big fandoms, sometimes I just dip a toe into other ones and then when I'm done I just go back to my old favs.

This is me, too. I may be interested in other stuff for a month or so, but rarely enough to read fic and never enough to write it or make other fanworks. I know I'm obsessed when I start planning cosplay.

I've been SUPER into four fandoms in 23 years.

And that's it, really. I'll write for Yuletide and occasionally read random fandoms that hit my kink buttons well, but I don't consider them main fandoms.

same. i enjoy a lot of different media, but i've never really gotten, idk, "fandom-y" over more than a handful. and i stay interested in them way past their generally accepted expiration date lmao

I definitely move through fandoms. I can't stay interested without new canon so when the canon is done or I've lost interest in it, I just can't continue. And I only read fic so I don't have any community ties to keep me there.
