What's your favorite kind of pie, FS?

Pumpkin. I really just want to skip summer and go right into autumn in part for pumpkin flavors of everything.

Dutch apple and cherry.

Homemade apple pie is hard to beat. Most commercial pies are too sweet for my taste and I like more cinnamon/cloves/nutmeg.

Blueberry. Glad it's one of the few fruits I can still (kinda) eat.

Hard to choose, they're all awesome.

I have a fondness for key lime, apple, and pumpkin pie.

lemon pie. I have a love for all things lemon though but it is still a great pie.

Apple.
I haven’t been able to find a decent merangue pie for years, or I’d put down Key lime and grasshopper pie on the list, too.

1. Strawberry rhubarb. This is what I get for my birthday every year.
2. Peach
3. Blueberry
4. Pecan, but I can't eat this anymore because I can't eat nuts.
5. key lime

Pumpkin, followed by peach and cherry, followed by a french silk or similar chocolate custard pie, followed by a key lime or a lemon meringue, and huckle- marion- or boysenberry. Once a year I enjoy a pecan and an apple but I do NOT enjoy pecan or apple if it's not just the way my mom makes them... I will occasionally enjoy a little bit of a chess/shoofly pie but it's not a fave, same with blueberry. If I could get a strawberry pie without rhubarb more reliably, that would shoot up there past key lime, but I can't stand rhubarb. This ranking is without taking into account the world of SAVORY pies, of which I am also a tremendous fan.

I might also spend a lot of time thinking about pie.

Pie is just my favorite.

Cherry, though practically nobody makes a good one. I also like Key Lime and pumpkin a lot, and apple if it's very tart and not all mushy.

But cherry, yeah....

Strawberry rhubarb. Cherry, apple, peach, blueberry - all of those only if they’re not too sweet.

Peach mango, but I haven't made one in years and right now I don't have a working oven.

Also there's a savory vegetable pie recipe I got from a kid's vegetarian cookbook that's pretty great especially after I tweaked it (I don't mind the taste of mushrooms but the texture is like biting into an ear.)

Savory pie, Gary? Savory pie?!

Key lime pie. A proper sour cherry pie is a close second.

Key lime pie is excellent, but it's a warm weather pie to be sure. Any type of berry pie is also solid, especially strawberry rhubarb, as long as the baker didn't go too heavy on the sugar and doesn't put cinnamon in it like some kind of heathen. Also, I've never said no to a good peach pie.

Cherry pie with chocolate ice cream. And I can't believe how many people are saying pumpkin. I just assumed it was one of those awful ones that everyone felt obligated to make when the holidays roll around. I have had exactly one (1) bite in my life and that was more than enough!
