Of course, once you put Hiei and Kurama together...

(I actually prefer Hiei, too, I just have to knock out a few tweens to get to him sometimes.)

Aaaand thus why I am not in the fandom. *headdesk* Honestly, I liked the show for the blood and guts and later for the interesting characterization and also the blood and guts. Hiei is snarky and kickass and does not deserve this fuckery.

It's not all bad. Those of us who actually write the characters and not some twisted version of them that secretly loves kittens and girls with pink hair tend to seclude ourselves over in our own little corner.

(I often entertain fantasies of Hiei going on a rampage through the fandom, weeding out the weak and the sparkly.)
