Here we have a phrase that says "sell cat as rabbit" for someone that tries to sell/give you something different that they said, and is because back in time people would sell cat meat as rabbit meat and, since you cut the head, paws and tail and skinned, both cat and rabbit share the same kind of anatomy so no one would tell the difference.
