I've never commissioned, and I've never been commissioned. Not sure I would ever consider either -- I guess I don't really believe in it. Yeah, I know people do doujinshi and all that stuff and I'm not judging or condemning anyone for doing it. I've just always found the concept weird, someone making money off of someone else's idea they probably didn't get permission to, even if they're particularly talented. I suppose if it were a free domain thing, or if the person got permission from the original creator, and/or a portion of the profits were going to the original creator, I'd be more open to it.
