Ah, okay. I've had that happen to me with books I've read before, too. Though, why don't you just not reread it over and over...? There is always pretending to read it as an option.

I don't mind the book exactly. King Arthur legends are cool with me. But everyone seems to think that the book is some kind of feminist achievement and wonderful and everything and I read it and go "lol bad porn". Plus, all the supposedly feminist, woman-empowering stuff in the book? I never found any.

Haha. Well, I liked it for the most part, but honestly, it could've done without Guineveire(whatever)'s woe is me!!one chapters. And...various other things.

If there was anything empowering, it was the attempt to tell things from the womens' viewpoints rather than the mens'. 'Course, a lot of that was wangst and the such, but at least it was an attempt. (I'm a sucker for most things Arthurian legend, though. x.x)
