Northern Exposure had an interesting approach to age-gap relationship with Shelly and Holling.

One of my favorite pairings on Another World (a soap opera that ended in 1999) was Matthew Cory/Donna Hudson. Donna was a contemporary of his mother, Rachel. It was interesting because Rachel was about 25 years younger than her husband Mac Cory and, yes, had issues with Matthew and Donna.
