Good points! I've heard from others that their main issue with Remadora is that both of them are heavily queer-coded — I see it a different way (Lupin always read as ace to me rather than gay, and while I never gave Tonks's orientation a second thought I still did not understand where the compatibility was with him), but I'm hesitantly inclined to agree.

If you (or anyone else) happen to have any good IC fic recommendations, please do send them my way. Or if there's just a particularly well-done age gap relationship in something, for that matter, regardless of medium or gender permutation. I'm starving.

I actually kind understand why people would think they're queer-coded (i.e. lycanthropy being a allegory for a shunned exhausting disease, a la AIDS and Tonks's alt style although this one is a bit thinner for me I think), but I do not understand how that would be a problem for the ship? But I kinda agree with the fact that canon does not get the audience to understand what Tonks sees in Remus, lmao. That said, my headcanon is I think she just wants a quiet to her loud.

All I have is possible SPN one-shot fics to recommend you, OP. (Jody/Sam and Rowena/Sam).
