I once dreamed a friend of mine had died. In the dream, I woke up and realized it hadn't been a dream, he was really dead. And THEN I woke up for real and took several minutes to be sure I really had been dreaming and my friend hadn't died. I've had the "waking in a dream" thing happen before but that instance was the worst. I was upset all morning.
