You know, Dad told me the dimensions and stuff but all I really recall is that it's a size that'll fit on the concrete base that the old one was on (that we spent my birthday taking down because it was at least 20 years old and the roof had caved in), and he opted for a metal one rather than wood because apparently the price of lumber right now is absolutely insane. Basically getting a shed that isn't falling apart is my birthday present this year, and I'll just be glad to have somewhere to put some things that really shouldn't be sitting in my hallway or under the deck, so it's his call.

And indeed, I already somehow managed to get three shiny Gible to complete the evolution line (one was a lucky trade, one was a research breakthrough, one was wild) but I'll still have fun getting candy so I can actually DO something with them instead of them sitting there unevolved as trophies. If I happen to get more shinies, not complaining there. ;)
