lol I forgot that you can bookmark openly :'D I've been book marking privately for so long I've done it without thinking.

Of course my bookmarks is a mess with one half being my all time favourite fics and the other half are ones I keep meaning to read later - which has only gotten worse now that I've passed 700 bookmarks.

Why not use 'Mark for Later'? Then you can keep the ones you haven't read and the ones you like separate.

I traumatised myself when I cleared my reading history and found out too late that it also wiped out my mark for later list :'D

Oh noes!!
Your history *is* private, though - nobody can see that, so unless it was just 'omg, too many!', you don't have to worry about anyone scrolling through your history and seeing what you've been reading.

Yeah this is true - I use to clear my history years ago when I first started using ao3 (idk why, I guess I thought that I was being tidy), but haven't done it since. Perhaps I should get round to sorting through my bookmarks to do a whole new read later list.

I cleared it once, not really thinking about it, but haven't since.
It's at 594 pages, heh.
