What shows/movies/books did you never finish for no reason?

Re: What shows/movies/books did you never finish for no reason?
Though I think there's a reason. It's half-subconscious, but happens so often I have a theory. If I'm really enjoying a game, and I sense I'm getting near the end, I stop and do something else because I don't want it to be over.

(Anonymous) 2021-06-05 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)Better Call Saul - similar reasons
Supernatural - kinda boring
The Witcher - got tired of the female main character and her baby obsession
Re: What shows/movies/books did you never finish for no reason?
I watched all of The Witcher but I fast forwarded thru a lot of her scenes. Netflix needs a 1.5x speed function like podcasts have.

(Anonymous) 2021-06-06 12:58 am (UTC)(link)The Flash, I try to get back into it on occasion but my heart isn't really in it anymore, which does make me sad as I love Iris but the show has really dipped in quality(I'm aware CW shows are shit, but this was a fun romp for 3 seasons at least) since I fully stopped and it can't hoik me back in.
And a couple of Korean shows that I started just for something to watch, but tapped out on because they weren't my preferred genres and I got bored. Although in one case it was 100% the fault of Netflix miss-tagging the damn show, a romantic comedy it was not.

(Anonymous) 2021-06-06 03:29 am (UTC)(link)Mostly it's just that the rest of the cast is kind of, 'eh', I guess.
Re: What shows/movies/books did you never finish for no reason?
(Anonymous) 2021-06-06 04:44 am (UTC)(link)I wandered off from Parks & Rec in the final season, for literally no reason. Maybe I was just sad that it was about to be over, idk.
I haven't finished Man In The High Castle, but that's because I don't have Prime at the moment.
I watched the first three seasons of The West Wing and it was absolutely brilliant, but that was back when I relied on DVDs for content and I didn't have the money to buy more seasons at the time, and I ended up not continuing on with it. I will eventually. Though with the shitshow politics has become, it's going to feel a lot more like a wild fantasy than it used to.
I also quit watching a lot of shows when I really love them and I'm scared they're going to go down hill. I did that with Mad Men after S4 (though I do intend to go back and finish it, and it sounds like it never did go pronouncedly down hill). I quit watching Shameless after S3 for the same reason, and I think I might just stick with that decision.
