The 11th Doctor-era story arcs really don't work for me. It's no coincidence that I started enjoying Doctor Who more when 12's seasons were less focused on an overall story arc and more focused on character arcs. I'd also cut Ryan from 13's seasons just to give Yaz more to do, have Graham die instead of Grace, and cut the Timeless Child stuff entirely. Weird, canon-defining things can happen, but they shouldn't fundamentally change the Doctor's character in that way.

Totally agree with you on Eleven’s story arcs. I liked Eleven just fine, but his run bores me and there are only a handful of episodes I still rewatch.

For Thirteen, I would’ve had Ryan and Graham leave after a few episodes. I wouldn’t have minded three companions at once (I did like Five and his little band of squabbling companions), but while Graham got some good moments, Ryan and Yaz never got any significant character development. I would’ve kept the Timeless Child stuff, but changed it so the Master was the Timeless Child.
