Not a movie or show, but I would remove a vast swathe of the 2.x patch material in FFXIV. Moenbryda existed to say the words "white auracite" and make Urianger sad when she was very quickly fridged, and that was such a hideously flubbed storyline that I genuinely wish it didn't exist. Every single time white auracite comes up I just get mad about it again.
