Yeah, I can somewhat relate. Starting something just doesn't feel the same for me now as it used to be.

Maybe, at least for me, it's because I don't really have anyone else to talk about it or enjoy it with. Not to go all grandma here but at least back in the day I could watch something, join in the community and find tons and tons of fascinating essays and stuff in a single space as well as fangirling with other people. Not saying fandoms didn't have the usual negativity, of course. But you still felt part of a community. /tl;dr

That said I did start KnY and it's a good series, OP. Barely on episode 6 and have already cried like 3 times but it's really worth the watch, IMO.
