Falcon and The Winter Soldier - I'd cut 80% of the Flag Smashers. I'd have them bomb a building straight out to justify Sam's intensity in stopping them. Then I'd fill in the gaps with more Zemo, Dora Milaje, Sam's family and Sam&Bucky talking quietly to each other in side-rooms.

WW84 - I'd cut the whole thing about how Steve Trevor is inhabiting some guy's body. He materializes at the party, and then she takes him to the first man's apartment she knows is empty to steal him some clothes. Or she takes him home and buys him clothes.

GoT- Cut every story and side book Grrm writes as faux history. It's not more interesting than real history.

TV from the 2000's - cut every time they make a main character a rapist (looking at you Gossip Girl and Once Upon a Time especially) because I'll never forgive them but the show will expect me to.

WW84 - THIS! It was creepy enough to go against her character and just so bizarre. It was a magical wishing stone that whipped things out of nothing left and right but a meatsuit was where it drew the line?!
The only reason they seemed to want to have Steve be in another guy was for Diane to talk to the real guy at the end but that exchange could have easily been taken over by literally anyone else.

NAYRT and I haven't watched WW84 (the spoilers soured me on it) but Steve still could've possessed some random dude and Diana still could've talked to Steve's meat suit afterwards--just have both Steve and Diana think his body had been created from nothing so Diana expected Steve to pop out of existence and instead there's some confused dude going "the fuck just happened, who are you?"

I don't love that solution because the problem is Diana and Steve sleeping together and doing dangerous things (steeling jets, car chases) while some poor guy is along for the ride with no agency or consent. It's not a great situation and I'd prefer it be 100% excised.
