Not in the US but I have noticed that certain items (McChicken for example) taste REALLY different in the US compared to Canada so I wonder if it's a regional thing? I don't find McD's gross, especially not in comparison to any other fast food burger place.

I dunno - I've only ever eaten fast food in the US, and 99% of it just tastes...gross to me. Greasy, weird, gristly, not fresh.

McDonald's in US is kind of crap, honestly. Even though I loved it as a kid. Cheap quality burger buns, "uniform" meat patties containing beef from up to 1000 different cows, not-fresh veggie toppings. The chicken nuggets aren't terribly appetizing (I'd rather go to Wendy's), and though the fries are delicious, I hear they have to go through a process just to be edible. Egg McMuffin is probably the only thing I'll get off the menu that doesn't disappoint me.
