115 - I'm the same way. I really just am not attracted to those pairings. I don't hate pairings because they're m/m, nor do I dislike the people who ship them, not even people who only ship slash. I personally just don't like slash. It's just the way it is.

122 - You know humanity has reached its lowest point when people will lynch you for liking Scrappy Doo.

127 - I thought Hetalia was boring too. I thought it would be interesting with all the historical references, but it ended up being a huge letdown for me.

145 - THANK YOU. I ship SasuSaku too, but I think this can apply to my attitude towards shipping in general. Why do people care what other people ship? I can understand expressing dislike of something and even debating it, but people take it too far. I don't like it when people tell me why I ship something either. I'm a shallow fangirl? I didn't know that. Thank you for revealing that little tidbit to me, even though you've never met me, have never spoken to me, and the only thing about me that you really know is what pairing I like. I feel enlightened.

YES YES YES.

I don't care if people want to debate the logistics of SasuSaku with me, or simply don't care for either the characters, or the pairing. It's the half of fandom that seems stuck in the mindset that Sakura, and her feelings for Sasuke, have not changed at all, or matured in anyway, since the first time they met. The half of fandom that drops witty comments like "Sakura's love for Sasuke isn't blind--all she cares about is his looks!" all over my fics when the truth is in canon, it has been hammered home time and time again that the truth is completely opposite to that. The half who think Sasuke has shown no feeling of caring, hell even simple camaraderie, towards her throughout the entire manga.

Wow, uh, that was long. I've just been holding that in for a while, sorry.

Let it out. I feel the same way. I think it's ridiculous how SasuSaku is thought of as only one-sided romantic love right now. I don't think that Sasuke is in love with her, but they're completely ignoring that, believe it or not, Sasuke thinks of Sakura as a friend. It's been proven time and time again, even if you hate the pairing. It's a mutual platonic relationship with one-sided love being only a part of it (though I would think it's a major part). I don't think that Sakura would offer to follow Sasuke to Orochimaru and pretty much give up her entire life if she liked him just because he's hot.

In fact, I really don't care if people hate the pairing. Good for them, they can hate it all they want. I have pairings that I dislike too. I just wish that many of those people didn't need to constantly inform fans how stupid and shallow we all are for liking it. It goes that way for most other pairings too, not just SasuSaku.
