Oh god, someone else gets it. ;3;

A story: at one NDK, I got into an elevator with a couple of other girls, to head up to my room. A little known fact about me is that I'm terrified of elevators, but since they're such short rides and stuff, I can usually deal with it.

Well, this one got stuck. XD;

I was really starting to freak out, to the point of hyperventilating and sitting down in the corner with my head on my knees. These two girls, whom I'd never met before in my life, sat down next to me and comforted me, then busted out a few snacks from their bags and we had an impromptu "tea party" right there and then.

That wouldn't happen anywhere else, you know? That feeling of instant friendship. I love it. *u*

Awww! That's such a sweet story! ...But oh god the elevators at NDK worry me every year, and I'm not normally bothered by elevators. ._.;;;

I've been to several cons but the first time I went alone, nobody I really knew going with me I was worried. But like you, instant friends with folk around me - I didn't get stuck in a lift but the lines.

And that is such a sweet story *g* Glad it worked out okay.
