If the one person who bookmarked it is really in love with it, they've probably downloaded it already. Delete and be free.

...I never download fics, no matter how i love them. Do most people really do that?

I download all the fics I loved. I'm still sad about some old fics I'd love to reread but have been deleted or the one time my favorite author vanished from FF.net like 15 years ago.

I download all fics I find interesting that are more than 10k and then delete them if I don’t like them.

I download on my iPad directly into an app called Marvin where I can organize them, mark them as read, keep series stories together in order, bookmark scenes, etc. It keeps a link to AO3 in the download and I kudos/comment when I finish reading. It’s a great setup and I like to reread fave stories.
