107) Not only that, but even the creators said it was a take on the zombie genre. They just didn't want to play it straight, so they threw in twists to make it less identifiable as a zombie film and closer to a post-apocalyptic kind of story.

Yea xD Pretty much. I actually..forgot what the creators said, coulda used that in my original post.

Both books as in both Watership Down books, or Watership Down + Plague Dogs? Either way, I really like all of em x3

I have to admit that 107 pissed me off enough to go searching for the production notes at IMDB. Otherwise, I wouldn't have remembered despite having 28 Days Later sitting on the shelf right behind me.

Both Watership Down books. I find that if I mention Watership Down, everybody goes 'ooh' because of the movie, but if I mention Tales, all I get are blank stares and 'there's another book about them?'.

I'm surprised I don't have 28 Days Later...any of my "zombie expertise" has to do with the fact my boyfriend is a huge zombie buff (to the point I want to whack him sometimes, he likes to go on about how our arpartment may or may not be zombie proof .. @_@)

Yes I know what you mean! I can't believe so many people don't know Tales exist! I get the same reaction whenever I mention I read Bambi and Son of Bambi. A lot of people don't know there's more than one.
