157) I agree with the half concerning the whole ret-con business. She was one of my favourite characters and I actually enjoyed that particular arc, but I just didn't get the need to retell how Sylar came to be the way he was. Really now :/

171) Six years ago, man, six years ago. In terms of fandom, that's quite an eternity considering how fast it can change (moreso if you've moved on to newer ones). Maybe you should look at the old things you posted and compare to them to what you post now. The difference is likely huge, and I doubt someone is not going to move on from internet happenings six years ago.

172) Me too. When I heard "Canada" being used as an alibi in that Suzumiya anime, I got ridiculously excited and proud.
Canada's in Hetalia? Hook, line, and sinker.
American comedians making fun of Canadians? OMG THEY MENTIONED US!
A movie set in Alberta? \o/ (what's pathetic here is that I'm embarrassed by my province most of the time)

i'm the same way about BC when it gets mentioned on RCAFarce or 22mins. it's so rare, and i'm always like 'YES BC OMG - oh, another pot joke? WELL GOOD ENOUGH =DDDDDD'

Hey, BC gets the more interesting and risque news though. Stuff like grizzly bears attacking people in their backyards, drug jokes, immigrant jokes, and not-winter. All we ever get are stories about filthy oil rigs and cowboys.

(It's one of those weird Canadianisms where we act as though patriotism is a waste of time, but then we turn right around and get giddy/self-important when we ping on anyone's radar. Good or bad, any publicity is good publicity?)

LOL. I feel the same way about Canada. It's somewhat ridiculous. I am so terribly proud that so much American TV is filmed in BC. XDDD
