107 There are different types of zombies, you know. And it's not like these movies were
the first to have infection-type zombies, either. (Hello, Return of the Living
Dead?) Unless you're pissed off that they're fast zombies, which, in my opinion,
just made it scarier.
115 I agree. It's like people are missing the point completely. Also, even though I like
some presidents/politicians and dislike others, I think fan-worship of politicians is
disgusting. I voted for Obama, but he's the President, not a rock star.
119 I couldn't stand her, mostly because I hope to God that I don't resemble her in real
life.
125 I never saw the movie, but I read the book as a kid and I never came to that
conclusion afterwards. From what I've seen it's like they play up the violence too much
in the film version.
144 WTF, he was originally supposed to look human. He was a cartoon, stylized
version of a human, sure, but still a human being.
148 I don't get how anyone could find this movie boring and preachy. First of all, just
based on the visuals alone, it's not boring. Second of all, the theme of the movie and
the book is one of free will, the ability of humans to choose between good or evil,
which is just about the opposite of a preachy theme, in my opinion. However, I do agree
that it's an overrated film, especially compared to many of Kubrick's other films.
151 People don't like incest because it's taboo or illegal in most of the world, not to
mention nasty (since it has the potential to create genetically weak offspring).
160 I think it's much worse to completely ignore POC altogether in your fic, just
because you're worried about not being PC enough.
161 It is that good. You probably just don't get it (hint, it's hard science
fiction, in a way even shows like Gundam 00 aren't).
163 My favorite part was where you assumed that nobody in other fandoms can use correct
grammar or spelling, and that basically no intelligent people exist in any other fandom.
Nice going, obvious elitist.
168 I always thought it was annoying in general how so many European countries have been
stereotyped solely based on WWII, as if nothing else ever occured in all of European
history. (As if those nations always existed in the first place.)
