Bruce Cockburn started getting really angry in the 80s, although I guess that was more about the politics than specifically unions.

Also Billy Bragg, who was mad as hell, particularly about Thatcherism, in the 80s.

Also, for goodness sake, one of the biggest records of the era included:

"Now Main Street's whitewashed windows
