Be specific (pairing, plot, trope).

I desperately want more Doctor Who fics that are pure historicals (no sci-fi elements except for the TARDIS, no major changes to history). And more 12/Missy fics that don't woobify Missy or demonize 12.

How has there never been a Thor/Steve fic with Steve eventually going to live in Asgard (I've always thought the serum would make Steve immortal).

I've seen one where he goes to Asgard to visit.

Yeah, I've seen a few of those. But I want King-Consort Steve Rogers. ♥‿♥

There's not enough fanfic for Akira Kurosawa films, many of which would make great material for porn parodies. (Yes, I want Toshiro Mifune fanart pinups too. Because of course.)

I just really, really, really want Sam and Dean to get sent back in time to solve some weird case and become friends with Vincent and Theo van Gogh.

Loki x Natasha that isn't fem/dom. Just them messing with each other, having love/hate sex, like two ships passing each other in the night with a lot of tension, mixed feelings, angst.

Still looking around, haven't pulled up everything yet but if I get really desperate I might just write something myself because I'm in a mood.

A Pacific Rim fic post-Uprising where Hermann saves Newt from the Precursors by drifting with him.

There's probably plenty of fic about this concept but I gave up trying to slog through the AO3 tag after the first page. If anyone has recs, I'd love it!

I don't have any recs, but whole-heartedly approve of this scenario.

I've said this here before but I really want Jeeves and Bertie Boardwalk Empire crossover fic, and neither Jeeves nor Bertie gets killed or seriously hurt.

I want adventures, I want Gretchen and Toro, I want a new comic line but I also want fanfiction of my favorite little assassin baby.

More people writing my fave OTP. Even without them being a pairing. Or heck, just Vagrant Story gen would be great.

But as specific as possible, Sydney and Hardin being individually and mutually dysfunctional, fairly toxic, and borderline abusive, but recognizing they really do care about each other and showing that in quiet ways without actually saying the words. Ideally over the course of some plotty/creepy adventure. And with neither of them turning into a wussy uke. (So basically canon, with or without the other characters is fine. :P)

...I mean I've written half a million words of this so far and have more underway, because other than one friend, no one else has written the pairing for over ten years as far as I can tell.

Kay Phantom of the Opera fic where Erik really has a dragon.

Abby Mills from Sleepy Hollow and Emma Swan from Once Upon a Time running in to each other as adults and reminiscing about the time they were in the same foster home for awhile.

OUAT fic where Regina heart-puppeteers Zelena into opening Rumplestiltskin's vault to bring him back from the dead, saving Neal from death because Henry would be heartbroken to lose his dad, killing Zelena, and setting up an Emma/Neal/Regina OT3 where amnesiac Emma assumes Regina and Neal are together because who wouldn't go for her, she's gorgeous, but screw you Neal please leave. Cue lots of misunderstandings and an eventual OT3, ecstatic Henry, and conflicted Rumpelstiltskin and Snowing.

This is more a synopsis for a Belle/Rumpelstiltskin OUAT fic I'll probably never write, where Gaston deals with Rumpelstiltskin for a lust potion for his indifferent fiancée, but doesn't read the fine print until he's dosed Belle's tea and is about to "just happen" to run into her--the price is he'll be unable to get it up for anyone but her forever after. He calls Rumple back on a pretext of amending the deal, slips him a dose, and leaves them to it, figuring he's just punished Belle for rejecting him now she'll be "ruined" by a monster, who'll himself be stuck with the impotence meant for Gaston.

Gaston sucks at reading comprehension and has terminal limp dick forever, and either Rumple nullifies the potion's effects and he and Belle discuss the deal that rids her kingdom of ogres like civilized people, or they fuck the night away and then make a deal about the ogres, then realize the potion wore off after a couple months because true love broke the spell.

Any fic, any m/m pairing - long plotty stories starting with them as they are in the book/show and ending up in love, with actual interesting stuff happening on the way. I feel like those were always rare, but that they're even rarer now than in the 90s/early noughties.

TOS Battlestar Galactica more Apollo/Starbuck.

Historical 0T3s. Or OT3s set in historical AUs.

The only one I can think of off the top of my head was a DC comics one where Guy/Ice/Fire were Mormons in the Old West and they were side characters.
