It's definitely irrational, but Rhett and Link remind me of specific people I used to know. They would just always be the loudest people in any room and always redirect any conversation onto them and their wacky antics. Everyone else seemed to like them, but I just found it obnoxious and exhausting.

So...actually probably not really about GMM at all.
