131 I'm so glad I'm not in that fandom; it seems like there's a lot of hate for every single character, and a lot of judging of actions. This is also why I can't imagine ever being on another fandom forum. Yuck.
143 Yeah, um, you're right. If you set out to become a bnf, the whole thing does get shadowy, political, hyperbolic, paranoid—it's a mess, and I really never need to get that close to the white-hot center of a fandom ever again. However, if you're just doing your thing and you get popular, you have a much better chance of keeping your soul, because you already didn't make a bunch of compromises to get there.

149 I agree! Personally, when I'm copying an icon I put their username in the filename myself, so I will remember. But I wish they would do it for me, since of course they want to be credited!
