What are some shows/movies/games you fondly remember

But know you can never rewatch/replay because it absolutely will not hold up.

Quite a few of cartoons I loved from when I was a kid or a younger adult. Dexter's Lab, Jimmy Neutron, Powerpuff Girls, Fairly Oddparents, etc.

I loved the first season of Prison Break but there is no way it holds up to my memories.

I have fond (if extremely hazy) memories of Prison Break S1 as well. I think a big part of it was that it was coming out during a major episodic/procedural trend in TV, so any show that wasn't episodic and/or procedural was like, "Woaahhhh! So complex! so ambitious! So intriguing!" Also, I distinctly recall being awed and shocked by anything that was even slightly dark or genuinely serious. I'm pretty sure TV was really, really fluffy for a while around that time, so stuff that wasn't totally fluffy stood out.

Any childhood anime. I already made that mistake with Pokemon so everything else will sit in my rosy memories.

Oh yeah, even looking at photos from Pokemon I know that is something I don't want to try again.

Lol I loved F Troop and Hogan's Heroes back in the day. HH is still on here in the USA (altho my husband and I were talking just the other day about how bizarre a sitcom about a Nazi POW camp was), but F Troop...yikes on bikes, man.

I thought Hogan's Heroes wouldn't age well, but I rewatched a few eps a few years ago and...it kinda did! I mean, it's more of a "let's play pranks on the boss" sitcom, despite the Nazi POW trappings. [disclaimer: I'm white and not Jewish.]

Space Cases. It was my absolute favorite show as a kid and it got me into sci-fi, but well, it was a 90s live action Nickelodeon show, and the odds of it holding up to my childhood nostalgia are pretty slim. Since I don't want to ruin my fond memories of the show, rewatching it would probably be a bad idea. That said, I do still enjoy reading the fanfic for it, especially Davenport/Goddard fics, as they were one of my earliest OTPs before I even knew what that was.

Several cartoons and anime. I thought they were awesome when I was a kid but now they just look terrible.
Some video games, especially from the PS1 and PS2 era for the graphics.
Final Fantasy IX - I tried to play it for nostalgia's sake when the remastered version came out and found I didn't have the patience for it anymore.
A LOT of 80s/90s silly teen comedies (like Surf Ninjas ... oh dear) because I have come to hate slapstick and cringe comedy and it feels like that's all these movies were.
