Thing is: There was absolutely NO reason Jared should've been on the loop for this.
He is NOT part of Chaos Machine (Jensen's producing company), nor gave money to CM to get the rights for Supernatural, so he is not an investor, he's not named in the paperwork, or has ever worked as a writer or director so he couldn't be hired in that position. His SPN character can't be involved in the prequel given that it's set before their parents were married and at best, if he appeared, he'd be a 5 month old baby.
Legally? There's NO WAY he should've been even told that this was happening before the general public due to how NDAs work. He was acting entitled, and throwing a tantrum in public, and that's why people are happy for his discomfort.

I will point out that Jensen will be narrating the show as Dean, telling the story of his parents. That narration could just as easily be done by both of them.
