(Cozy Werewolf Anon) :I am being self depreciating here FYI.:

As one of the anons above me has said about disenchanted bookworms, as a disenchanted bookworm, I ended up writing my own books to tell stories I found comfy, cozy, and amusing in my head.

I honestly don't recommend this (unless you love writing.) Since I now have like 9 different ideas vying for brain space/time. Whether or not people want found family werewolf biker stories or warrior princesses is not really my problem? (Not that they can find them, thanks Amazon.) And I very rarely pick up a book anymore. Too busy writing (original and/or fanfic.) When the pandemic started I'd been trying to read more indies, and that was not the way to go about it either. >_< Indies are really hard to find well written. Once we're out of the pandemic I might try again.

It's okay to have 4 or 5 authors you love. You don't have to branch out. We're in a pandemic. Give yourself some grace. Everyone is stressed. Having comfort stuff is fine! Like, I wish I could say "go to royal road or wattpad and sort by tags you want and you'll find good stuff!" And, I can't. So, I guess this is hugs and cocoa and sympathy.
