Re: Opinions on DVDs/Blu-rays/Hard-copies of media?

I still buy dvds and blu-rays, because my collection is probably less than 150 disks all told and my home internet is shitty enough to make streaming a hassle before even getting into the costs of all the different streaming services.

I don't like many movies or shows enough to want to own them; I buy maybe one or two a year.

I mostly switched to ebooks though because a) I work at a library so I have access to tons of books b) I was running out of shelf space both as room on extant shelves and space for new bookshelves and c) I have hoarder tendencies and a hoard of ebooks fits on my phone but my hoard of physical books could kill me if there was an earthquake or something.
