Me too! That's the reason I really enjoyed the game.

I hate it when everybody's nice and wants to save the poor and downtrodden.

Velvet and Magilou were such a nice change!

Then again, they're mainly just selfish; they never get really cruel or sadistic. As a person who could never bring herself to play renegade in Mass Effect, I don't think I could take it either.

Honestly the lack of cruelty and sadism is one of the reasons I adore the cast too. They're all selfish, they're all going about their lives, living for their own ends, but they're not actively out to get the average person. They do some awful things on their quest but they don't do those things for kicks or for the fun of it, they do them because it's the most expedient way to get to what they want. It's a really interesting mind-set and I just adore it and how self-aware they are of it.

Even Eleanor and Laphicet have their own selfish moments and I kind of love that the game says 'it's okay to be selfish', 'it's okay to look for your own answers even if those answers don't match what those in power want you to think'. It's okay to change your mind and it's okay to not know what you want yet.
