Re: Opinions on DVDs/Blu-rays/Hard-copies of media?

I don't buy DVDs/CDs any more. There was this quiz about how much slave labor goes into the goods we own and apparently there are (were?) minerals that go into physical media (and electronics generally) that are considered "conflict minerals." So yeah, even though I didn't commit the details to memory I haven't been interested in buying the things.

Like yeah, sure, Amazon will eventually screw me over with my digital copy but eventually a hard copy would decay/break/get lost anyway.

I wildly miss director/cast/crew commentaries though. Screw HD vs. regular definition I'd pay an extra 2$ for extra features.
